DEF: Demir Export and Fernas Ordinary Partnership

DEF was established in August 2011 after the winning of the tender for the production of 36.5 million tons of coal in 18 years, of which 3 years are preparation and 15 years are operation, which was put out to tender by the Türkiye Kömür İşletmeleri ((Turkish Coal Enterprises (TKI)).

DEF has been operating the Manisa Eynez Eastern Underground Coal Enterprise since the time it has been established.

DEF has signed the contract for Eynez II Underground Coal Enterprise on September 21^st, 2018, after the winning of the tender for the transfer of the operating rights of the license number 86073, which was under the responsibility of TKI, on June 5^th, 2018.
