Based on our philosophy which prompts us to view the environment as a betrustment that will be passed on to future generations as the common living space of all living things, we are growing on the basis of best practices in the world and continue to develop our goals by adhering to our basic environmental principles, which are:

to prevent pollution at its source by ensuring efficient and sustainable use of energy, raw materials and natural resources,
to give priority to the reuse and recycling of wastes and to increase the environmental awareness of our employees and society,
to continuously improve environmental risks by effectively managing them,
to protect biodiversity and cultural heritage in the regions of operation and impact,
to ensure that our mining sites are reintroduced to nature,
to evaluate the environmental risks and impacts of new investments from the project designing stage to the end of the project's lifecycle, within the scope of national/international standards, and to ensure the establishment and execution of environmentally friendly facilities,
to comply with the provisions of the Turkish Environmental Legislation and other relevant legislation in our activities, and to implement international standards and best practices, and
to ensure compliance of our employees, suppliers and contractors with the environmental management system that effectively controls environmental factors and risks.
