Coal licenses were taken from the General Directorate of Mining Affairs by first application right in 2008. Exploration studies started immediately and prospection studies of the General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration for that region were also evaluated in 2008. So far, approximately 100 million tonnes of geological lignite potential was identified at Dinar & Basmakcı Districts. Exploration studies & drillings are still continued to increase the coal potential in the region.
