For 2009, our company has acquired 12 mining licenses, one for operating and 11 for exploration in the Adana Aladağ chrome province, located between the Aladağ and Pozantı districts. We started our prospecting and detailed geological and drilling to determine the area’s potential, while studies to determine the amount of reserves still continue. So far, at the operational license, 2,657 meters of drilling has been carried out in 25 locations, with three drill machines in the vicinity of Ortaoluk. As a result of this work, a zone with a disseminated band of chromate was discovered, stretching one kilometer along its strike with 50 meters to 100 meters of dipping and with thickness varying between 5 meters to10 meters. The Cr₂O₃ content of the zone varies between 1% to 25%, and the average grade is about 6%.
