Demir Export sponsored Turkey's Young People's Volleyball Championship in Sivas, organized by the Ministry of National Education.  The tournament was played in the Cumhuriyet University Sports Hall and in the Sivas 4 Eylül Sports Hall, April 13-17, 2009. İstanbul Private Bostancı Doğa High School won the women's tournament while Istanbul Davutpaşa High School won in the men's category.
